Integration of On-Site with Proprietary Edge Devices
Integrate on-site equipment with iDERMS RTU, which supports both monitoring and control. iDERMS RTU supports the integration of all different types of distributed energy resources that can be included to a VPP resource, including solar, wind, and ESS. For communication with Korea power exchange, use the reliable and proven Encored’s Renewable Data Acquisition Device, chosen by the majority of customers. Encored’s device supports highly stable control signal reception through HA configuration.
Highest Accuracy in Generation Forecasting
50% of the participants in the Korea Power Exchange's renewable forecasting service use Encored's forecasting solution. Encored's generation forecasting system, which supports both solar and wind, provides the highest prediction accuracy through day-ahead forecasts and real-time forecasts that incorporate real-time weather observation data. The system offers multiple power generation forecasting models and supports ensemble forecasting by combining several models. If needed, ensemble forecasting can also incorporate customers' own forecasts.
Customizable Bid Strategy
Develop bidding strategies that reflect the characteristics of the customer's aggregated resources and their specific requirements, linking the strategy to automated processes. By incorporating the customer's revenue goals and contractual obligations for power generation sources, we actively support the customer's aggregation business. Control operations automatically initiate considering the forecasted generation and support manual control of all generators based on user requests.
Issuance of Settlement Statements for Individual Generators
Distribute the generation revenue of aggregated resources according to the contract conditions for each individual generator and support the issuance of automatic settlement statements and tax invoices.
